Some good news on this Valentines day

Cruising the website for my state government I discovered I am currently paid 2600 USD below the minimum pay for my position classification.

Putting aside the personal resentment I feel about being paid the minimum despite doing all the things that I do as well as I do…it’s still good news.

They set the pay bands low, they lowball everyone…but at least they abide by what they put in writing

And this is in writing on a publicly available website

So I won’t have too much of an issue at least getting the minimum
