That's terrible. I couldn't support them if that's true.

Why would they do that? No one buys them? Damn, maybe people should buy pets from Petco just to get them out of there.

If they buy, new pets would be bred and sold.
A different way is a public awareness and people not buying pets. Or if you really have to buy, buy form a reputable breeder, that actually gives a damn about the living creatures.
