Is it idiosyncratic that I've never worked a day in my life?

In my mid 20s, graduated from highschool, went to university, transferred and finished college. I do have my own venture which technically makes me self-employed, but I currently don't get any revenue, income, nor profit. I also have volunteering experience from library, food bank, and thrift store; while I was technically hired to work as a general labourer a few years back, I got fired within mere hours. I've been told by everyone to omit that experience from my resume, as it'd hurt my chances more if I just told people I never worked. I was also hired for some summer job at the food bank I volunteered at, but my family forced me to visit relatives in East Asia, so I had to decline the job offer; I think I only got that job since the staff there liked me.

Since general labourer job was done through a recruiting agency and they never told me who my manager was nor gave me an agency card, the security and HR personnel that day told me I wasn't allowed to be paid. Reason for being fired was I sucked at doing the job since I didn't get enough sleep and had to skip breakfast to arrive early in the morning. Yes I know, I should've done more research and not ignore the red flags when I approached that agency for help, but since the government employment office introduced them to me, I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Never been able to get a part-time job while I was in school for a variety of reasons; I only got a few interviews throughout highschool, and I got a dozen interviews throughout university and college. Obviously the last few years, the economy has gone to shit, so that means pretty much everyone aside from those that are experienced, talented, or well connected can find work. I've been able to secure about a dozen interviews from probably 1000+ job applications, some interview offers that got abruptly cancelled by the employer, and many job scams that I ignored. And yes, I know that it's my fault for applying for jobs outside my local area, which I've only been made aware recently that employers mostly will discriminate based on proximity.

Currently though, I've been able to get connected to some automotive company (I won't reveal it here, sorry) via connections, and I'm still waiting for them to call me for an interview. They're a MNC let's just say, so it'll take them far longer to go through the hiring process than more local businesses; to make things worse, the inside guy waited an entire week before handing my resume to HR smh. I also have applied for some pre-apprenticeship program at the college I attended for coding, but I also gotta wait awhile since that specific program is funded by the government, and we all know how slow they take doing stuff.

Finally I managed to contact my local division of IUPAT, which is a painter's union, although because of some fuck up by the government, I have to wait a few weeks to get another renewed government ID. Once that arrives and assuming I fail to get hired at said automotive place or be accepted into the program, then I'll join the union and hopefully be able to become a painter. They offer apprenticeship opportunities and can help me with my job finding skills; all I need are highschool diploma, valid government ID, and pay a fee of around 110 dollars. My dad told me he can also try to refer me to the soda factory my uncle used to work at, but since he retired, not sure if I even can be accepted as an internal candidate (plus, it's many cities away).
