I hate sales but that is the only kind of job that I can get considered for. Got interview 4 one tomorrow - may cancel. Need something not sales

After my last 3 horrible sales jobs, I promised myself that I would not take any more sales jobs. I used to be great at sales - I am getting too old and uninspired for it now. Too make my situation worse, I have reached the age where I am facing all kinds of age discrimination.

Laid off in Sept. but cant make myself suffer another sales gig

Have you got any skills where you can go self employed. I did that, I found a local community magazine that took adverts, that’s the part that costs the money. I went self employed cleaning.

@Xanadu17 That is the best way to go. I have worked for so many big companies, a government agency, a major nonprofit, and even smaller companies - it took me this long to think that working for someone may not be for me. I wish like hell that I started out looking to make my own job when I finished college. I would know what I could do by now.
You started a cleaning business? I had a dear friend who did that - I would help her with some marketing when I got laid off the first time. She was struggled but she was her own boss. I admired people like that. Good for you.
