Insecure Travels and Rapport Building #788
"I'm currently heading back from a business trip, and it always feels like more of a hassle going from west to east than the other way around. They've changed my gate three times, and I'm honestly exhausted. The airport is incredibly hot, and the water here tastes terrible.
I must admit, this entire "team building" trip left me feeling quite insecure since I often felt like the odd one out. Fortunately, next week should be a bit better as I'll be meeting up with colleagues I have a good rapport with. However, one of them is quite young and inexperienced.
I genuinely try not to be judgmental, but I've noticed I tend to connect more easily with my male coworkers than my female ones. Is this a common experience?
