I had the most ridiculous meeting at work today, my company looks like a bunch of crazy people
We are a small company that creates industrial automation. We are working for a customer with a budget of around 500 million dollars. So who shows up to this meeting?
My coworker responsible for fixtures forgot how his fixtures work and was falling asleep the whole time.
Also my bosses are these fat turds. So you have this 300 lb walrus at the end of the table talking to our customer, not even an engineer. Then you have me who was always trying to show off what I know about the project.
Also you have one dude in the meeting who is also our boss but has no idea about anything.
Finally you have overdressed guy with a tie.
We were quite an unusual sight.
It was totally ridiculous.
Before the meeting ended, sleepy guy played a clip from the movie, The Dictator, at full volume, and later left an hour early with the excuse that he had to feed his dogs.
I wouldnt be surprised if we lost the customer and all got laid off.
What a crazy house.
I'm trying to move to another company and I did get offered a job by Lockheed but I'm not sure if they will retract the offer cause of my security clearance issues. 馃
