When people say they don’t talk about how much they make .. it’s because they make a lot right ?

I asked my supervisor how much he makes and he bluntly said .50 cents more than you do!.. then I asked my assistant manager and he said he can’t discuss what he makes .. so I’m guess 250k a year?
