Maybe you could find some sort of passive income to help you feel more stable.

@being do you have any talents you can exploit? What resources do you have? One thing I do is flip furniture because one of my resources is people throwing away free non broken furniture

If you can get something like, regular clients or like long term contracts, there will be some element of instability that can concern you. For me, when I got opportunity, I switched to regular job. In my domain there are ways where you can people subscribe to your services, that can also give you sense of some security. If I ever looses the job, I will be trying that.
What I feel is that you have to be more enthusiastic, in a way aggressive towards the growth of your business, and try to build some assets to ensure some passive income.
Best Wishes :)

@being I really don't want you to feel discouraged just because you don't work a conventional job. But yeah passive income is important. I'm saving up for passive income too do that a few years down the line I can invest in real estate. Some banks also offer saving accounts that use your money for businesses and add a certain percentage of their profit to your account because technically you're an investor. So yeah you gotta look into your options and I hope we can make it through.

@assemblingaknob well it's not that we have many options 😂 but thanks for insisting, i need to look into that some time now.....

Passive income.
But I'm not an expert at investing. So....you gotta do some research but side income is very important. You'd feel the same with a regular job btw because now 1 source of income will not leave you with clothes on your back.

I have a regular job and to be honest with you, I have times of stressful instability where I just don't know how secure my job actually is. At times, I'm riding an emotional rollercoaster.

@Timeforsun thank you....it helps me with the perspective.. for sure there are stressful moments anywhere.
But then again.. it's a bit more relaxed knowing the paycheck isn't for the next xxx months but just for this current one...ugh

Okay technically my job isn’t super stable because my money isn’t guaranteed. I make it because I have a savings I created by doing the 20/30/50 rule
