New job on a whim?

I went for a job interview today. I work for myself and enjoy it, so I don’t actually need a new job.

I just saw a job advert and was interested, so decided to go and see what they were all about. Because I hadn’t psyched myself up about it, it was the most confident job interview I’ve ever done. In parts I felt like I was interviewing them, just wanting to find out everything I could. It’s totally different from my usual like of work, but the pay would be a fair bit better.

I wasn’t really considering wanting this job before the interview. But now I’m thinking if I get an offer, I may be tempted to take it. Never before have I been confident enough to ask at the interview for everything I’d actually want. They seemed like they may be able to fulfil my requests. So it could be a possibility… 🤞🤞

Not sure getting a new job on a whim is a great idea. But it would make a good story 👩🏼‍💻👩🏼‍💻👩🏼‍💻

Proud of your courage to step up and try something a bit out of your comfort range.
Whatever the result, you are stepping up and doing great.

A great story that does wonders for confidence. Applicants should always remember that an interview is a two-way process.

What do you do as a business?

Like software stuff?
I wish I could do something like that @Raffiki

@Rickg You can do loads of stuff. Writing, graphics, web design, content creation, marketing… the list goes on. But it can be a little unstable and takes a fair bit of admin, so not for everyone.

Yea
But they require years of studying no?@Raffiki
