How am I ever going to be anything?

I had two jobs in HVAC and lost both of them. Now I'm a host at a restaurant. I'm 26 years old and I still act like a naive little child. I'm awkward, stuttery, on edge, and I don't know what to do in the simplest of situations.

It may seem like that now, but I believe soon you will have a job you can be proud of.
Do you like being in the service industry (HVAC/Plumbing etc.)?
If not, what type of job would be one you would like?
