Glad things are safer now on people's jobs just like I'm glad antibiotics are around now and leeches are not used medically so much anymore

@TrunkZ High rise construction is still very risky, people fall and die with every high-rise building that is built. I worked with a man from Canada who had lost a leg when he worked in Canada on a high rise, don’t even know how he survived like he did. He married an American woman and moved here, would go back to Canada every so often and get a new prosthesis built for him.

@cherokeepatti yup. Anything that helps people make it home after a day's work is a good thing in my book. It must be awful for a child to find out a parent is not coming home anymore.

@TrunkZ I noticed in Morocco that they have a lot of construction injuries there. Is devastating for families when they have children to raise and the husband is the sole bread-winner. Some become disabled for life.
