I messed up on tills today

Well I didn't really mess up I managed to serve the customer but I kept stumbling and pressing the wrong buttons the guy training me said I was trying to hard to impress people and to take it slow because nobody's perfect which really put me at ease but I'm nervous about using it again

It's okay. Most people won't care so much unless they are having a bad day or are in a rush. A lot of people only think about themselves when they are in a bad mood or in a rush.
