If you could start a business, and you're guaranteed to make plenty of profit, what kind of business would you open?

I'd lean toward something involving lumber. I like to work outdoors, and I enjoy building outdoor furniture. I'd have my dream workshop, and I'd hire a few employees. I might even have my own lumber mill.

No money in it, but my first thought was a bird and other animal sanctuary ies..

@SW-User That would be great. I've always wanted to have a large piece of land for adopted dogs and cats to run free.

Self made trinkets. Either wood or metal. Make all sorts of things. Jewelry, wall art, statues, blades. Anything i could think of
BlackPhillip · 36-40, M
@JestAJester I'm always in need of a new blade. I put a lot of stress on my knives. They break fairly often.

@BlackPhillip just wish i had the talent and equipment to do it

@JestAJester You'll get there! It took me years, but I eventually had the skills and tools that I now have. You can do it.

You make furniture? Thats so impressive
BlackPhillip · 36-40, M
@MyNameIsHurl I make Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, benches, and stuff like that. I prefer to use repurposed lumber. It just has "that look" to it.

@BlackPhillip thats awesome. Ive always wanted to learn to make wood furniture
BlackPhillip · 36-40, M
@MyNameIsHurl It's a lot of fun, and I love teaching. I have a blower that I pulled out of an old air handler. I turn it on, then I just go to work. The sound of the fan is relaxing. Most of my work is done with a miter saw, table saw, router, and drill.
I don't want to do anything.

Something to do with music.
BlackPhillip · 36-40, M
@uncalled4 A recording studio would be great, or maybe a music store like Guitar Center.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@BlackPhillip I'd be happy with either. The reality is that neither of those make a lot of money.
BlackPhillip · 36-40, M
@uncalled4 That's true. Building outdoor furniture is the same way. It's a fun hobby, but that's about it.
