What do you do for a living?

Only can get a good job if you go to college. It is really no jobs out here. I am not a criminal and have no degree. Should I go back to college at 27?

It really depends on how much time you have on daily basis. Choose a field that wouldn’t take you more than 2 years to be employable and pays well.
You can support yourself with student jobs, live a minimalist life, take a students loan if really needed.
Don’t listen to people who think you’re lazy because you’re not settling for low paying jobs. They don’t wish that on their own kids.

@eMortal these low paying jobs makes you feel unappreciated. Barely get a raise. No paid vacation.

@eMortal Wouldn't wish a low paying job on anyone. At my location you need a degree for a good job

You don't have to have a college degree to get a job. I have literally started my own business on like $3.50. Be creative. However, going back to college would be a great idea.

I believe that all the people who claim that a degree is not necessary to get a good job don't realise that this depends on where you are from/live. I think I understand what you mean. And yes, do it, it's definitely not too late. I went back when I was 25-26 and I have not regretted it.

I spent 4 years in uni only to get jobs that have had nothing to do with my main degree, only things that's helped me so far are the small degrees I got on the side.
Yes. Go to a community college and get a degree for something practical..It can change your life.

Yes, i've seen ads for a thing called grammarly, it is supposed to help in how to write applications and so on in an effective way.

For me i'm just relying on disability benefits, and using reading as a way to make my perception of this life as having some kind of purpose, even though in a zen way there is no purpose, which is like a safety net, like ahhhh, there's no worries then. Just enjoy the moment and all.

The sooner the better.
Plus I bet you'll be wondering to go back when you are in the 40's

Met a guy while in college who was in his late 50s.

Go into the trades. Google trade union apprenticeships in your area.

try trade school if nothing else

My sister has no degree and makes 25/hr.
Its not true that you need a degrer. I have helped alot of people find jobs, make resumes, and go back to school. Its kind of my hobby.
I've made several resumes this year. So if clearly know what you want to do and have the time and resources then go back to school but with you being pregnant and dealing with your ex I'm not sure that you could do well at this moment.
College is a good thing to have but it dosent guarantee great money. Perhaps a trade school would be faster.

Pursuing any degree won’t guarantee a perfect job. Spending 14 or 16 years in education has a lot more to do than just getting a suitable job.
I may be wrong
But to each his own.
