When everything gets automated what happens to all the people who held those jobs?
A bank teller job used to be a pretty good job. What about grocery store check out?

A couple of years ago, Amazon introduced a couple of self-shopping experiences in my area, one within a mile of home.
I walk in, scan my palm, gate opens, I walk around, put veggies, fish, milk, etc. in my bags, and simply walk out.
By the time I get in my air, my phone pings me with the bill that was paid up using my credit card.
The world had the same scare, when personal computers first appeared. They opposed it, because they knew office jobs would disappear. Hint: it did not happen.
Automation is coming, and is inevitable. Soon you will no longer see those skyscrapers window cleaners.
New jobs will come along, and people will have more time to pursue the things they like to do, not have to do.

Those workers get better jobs, same with factory automation and robotics, get a better job, even if it means more training and education.
@BackyardShaman Leaving behind uneducated people who were working factory jobs. Thete are millions of people who can work on a production line that can never be retrained. The education system in the US is so bad it's like these people never went yo school at all.
