I Run My Own Business

So since starting my little business where I make the jewellery or clay charms I've felt such a difference in my mental health in doing more off screen things age exercising more. It's helped even more where I've done a few diet changes like not drinking alcohol except for special occasions and adding more healthy super foods to my diet.

Since doing my own thing I've been happier, calmer and a lot more confident in myself. I have found running my very own business with my own product a challenge but a good challenge. I've learned new skills in both business and when making new pieces such as ear rings and headpieces. It's all been worth it. It's way better than walking around knocking on doors asking people if they'd like to subscribe to something they really don't want to.

I used to do door to door and what made me change my mind and go and do my own thing was when a woman with dementia was haggled for a deal. I thought this wasn't right. I broke down and cried because of what the leader had done. It felt horrible not being able to say anything except to deal with it when I got home. Since then I've made my business and promised myself that I'd run a fair business and never do what they did. I always check if their sure they want the items their looking at.

To this day I strongly dislike door to door companies 🔥
