I ended up firing a customer yesterday
I ended up firing a customer yesterday, he was not a good one and all he did was complain. An used car dealer that wanted the job done cheaper with him supplying the parts. I diagnosed it telling him what it was, a bad wheel bearing in a Chevy Traverse and he did not like the price. I have a no customer supplied part policy in place. Said he would get the wheel bearing and told him no. Said he was cutting my profits on the part and labor. Looked at him and said not to come back. Was nothing but a pain in my butt. One time I was in the Snap On tool truck discussing something with my dealer, an end locker I wanted. Saw me in there and he almost cost my dealer a lost deal. Came in and interrupted us. My dealer and I told him to get out in. He did and my dealer said he is no longer allowed in his tool truck. Used to stop at his place when he had his own mechanic. He bought a scan tool from him which my dealer did repo, was not making payments on it. I am glad he is gone. My oldest daughter dated his son once whom is like him.
