UK Post Office Postmasters scandal continues

In today's i newspaper Nov.29.(page 14)

It's reported that a THIRD faulty I.T system may be responsible for yet more sackings and prosecutions and jailings leaving the UK government potentially liable to yet ANOTHER post office related compensation payout.

Currently estimated at £1.2 Billion...so far

Totally agree to the payouts considering that people were imprisoned, committed suicide, Lost their livelihood and most importantly their reputations. The head of the IT company should be held responsible as they covered up. To be fair, the government can only act on the information it is given and they were misinformed by the IT company

@Londonguy23 But to take one system...and continue to run it....despite growing misgivings...is unforgivable.

To make the same 'mistake' 3 TIMES ???

Totally indefensible and (if it had happened in a not so democratic country) everyone would be physically and metaphorically speaking, 'headhunting' those who approved, paid public money for and subsequently imprisoned the innocent.

To say nothing of those who took, or attempted to take, their own lives....how are you ever supposed to compensate for that ?
