Hi dears,
Last days I working on the topic of customization and personalization of products and services.

I analyzed prices of some products and as I can see, some companies doesn't take extra payments for personalization. But as I think, anyway companies costs will be growing, so why it happens?

Why business doesn't take extra money for customization?

Personalized products must be made to order and can't be mass produced. Although they are able to get paid more, their costs will be higher too and the turnover would be a lot lower, having to reset the machines to load a new design after every few product, so their profit may not increase, and even decrease significantly.

Also, modifying the machines to even support this and creating a system to submit custom designs require major investments, and customer service is going to be a lot more complicated.
