Sign Of Things To Come?

Musk, yesterday, outlined what he expects from the remaining Twitter workforce:

1. A minimum of 40 hours per week at the office.

2. Expects them to work more than 40 hours per week, to save the company.

3. Cancelled additional time-off, granted to employees previously.

Is this a sign that other companies will be doing away with work-from-home policies? Facebook may be planning on doing the same thing, as they start laying off the remote employees they hired during the pandemic.
Musk expects his employees to work 80 -120 hours…like him…

That man needs to get a life! 🤦🏻‍♀️
he will never get back his 44 billion. this is all just an exercise in futile whinning

I'm not sure if it's a sign WFH is going away in general, but MuskRat has always been against it, as well as even having Tesla factory workers stay home back during lockdown, and he admires Chinese workers who essentially HAVE to work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day, whether they want to or not

Musk specifically is a terrible employer

I wouldn't, for instance, expect to see WFH end with GitHub, Automattic, Ballotpedia, etc.
