Should I talk to my friend about profits in our business?

My friend and I started a T-Shirt business about 3-4 years ago. He and his partner have invested all the money into the company. All I've done is design the graphics. The mistake I made is I did not sign a contract stating who gets what percent of the profit. They recently opened a store in a very popular mall and according to them made over 200k in profits last year. I feel I need to speak to him about who gets what percentage of profits. Legally I feel I'm not entitled to any profits since everything is in their name and they payed for everything. If that's the case, I at least want to be composted for my time and designs. Since they are making money of my creative work. Going through A LOT right now, and money for just my time and designs is life changing money for me.

There’s no chance you’ll get anything unless you talk. Skim chances you still will, but atleast there’s a skim chance!
Contracts are important. Since you don’t have one, just hope they’re really good people 😂

If you're doing the design and graphics; you absolutely are due compensation for your intellectual property. Do not work on spec!
You should still deserve payment for your time and royalty for your designs.
