I Am In My Room Using My Ipad. The Birds Are In The Living Room Watching You Tube Bird Feeder Videos…

Those birds really love the bird feeder videos. I have been letting them watch them while I am away and I come home hearing them singing and chirping.

That paints a nice picture. How are you, my friend? Hsppy 2025.

@PoetryNEmotion Thank you and hope you have a happy 2025…Good except for a head cold.
@cherokeepatti it started off very positively. Today I got bad news about my Sasha. Her cancer has spread into her lungs. She only has a few months. She is nearly 14. My dearest dog. 2025 is a year of change. Hopefully I can retire early. Thank you.

@PoetryNEmotion So sorry to hear that. I had a little house cat that became a diabetic and then developed tumors on her belly (breast cancer maybe). I had gotten her spayed hoping that wouldn’t happen, she would come into heat before when she was younger and gain a lot of weight and never have kittens. I could never stabilize her blood sugar levels even giving her insulin and she passed on after 6 months.
@cherokeepatti Pets are as dear as our children. The hardest part is when they have to leave us.

@PoetryNEmotion yes it is. I was grieving for almost a week. Come Saturday morning I walked into my bedroom and smelled the most beautiful aroma, it was flowers and it was in January. Nobody else was at home and I hadn’t sprayed any perfume or anything else. It dawned on me that the cat had loved to smell flowers, never saw any cat stick their face into flowers and inhale the fragrance. When I planted flowers each spring in pots and concrete blocks around the patio of the apartment she’d beg to go outside as soon as I came home from work and she’d walk down the row of blocks and sniff each and every flower. It never got old with her and she did it every day as long as the flowers were in bloom. In the winter I planted a large amaryllis bulb and she would stare at it. I held up to the bloom so she could look and she put her whole face in the middle of the bloom. I felt like I was getting a message to stop grieving and remember her by that.
