This fatter than average guy has been around a couple of years and is more tame than the rest.

@SW-User Actually I think you might be right! I was stupidly thinking only of European birds, but the American goldfinch looks just like it.

That's a nice looking bird - this is the American Goldfinch I'm used to seeing...

That’s a nice looking bird too. Do you get hummingbirds where you are? @fun4us2b

@Oneofthestormboys Northeast USA - picture is from the web, but we do get them bright yellow like that this time of year.

Yes! Saw the first hummingbird yesterday at the feeder, then he perched in a tree then back to the feeder...I wonder if he's same visitor from last year...

@fun4us2b You lucky chap!

@fun4us2b If it's the same color it probably is. When they find a feeder it's theirs. They get crazy territorial. They're so awesome to have around. If you don't have one, they make little handheld hummingbird feeders. Your little guy will come to you to eat. It's fun.

@Ynotisay I never knew about handheld - I will check that out, Thanks!

@fun4us2b Right on. It's so much fun. Takes a little bit before they catch on but it's worth the effort. They're just the most amazing birds.

@Ynotisay Vid should work - very cool!

@fun4us2b There you go. Blows my mind that the smallest bird is the most trusting. I think they know they're faster. :)

@Oneofthestormboys Wow that is a striking bird!

@fun4us2b That reminds me to put out my humiming bird feeder, thanks!
