I've never seen one not in flight. 😮

Yes! We moved into our house four years ago this month. I put up a feeder right away. We had six show up in two days. Our neighborhood has a pretty good population that come back every year. Give it a go and see!

I love to catch them still. It takes patience, and a lot of shooting. Here's another...

SweetDreams - I put the feeder out as a supplement, not as a buffet. 🙂 There are ample sources of natural nectar in our area. They'll take my fuchsia over the feeder any day.

Oh I love them too...this year I have a couple lantana tropical plants...attracts butterflies and hummingbirds alike.

I'm kinda skeptical about putting up one of those things with nectar...I've never seen any hummingbirds around my garden, you think they might come if I put one of those around my garden?

aw I love hummingbirds! :) but feeders aren't good for the birds or plants. It messes with pollination.

I used to have that same hummingbird feeder

They're pretty common, I think.
