I Think Boo-Boo, My Parakeet, Would Have Been A Good Father…

Yesterday afternoon the boy told me his friend texted and wanted to hang out with other friends. He said he was waiting for them to text him back to tell him when they wanted to leave. Anyway about 5 minutes later Boo-Boo pipes up and says “You need to tell me where you are going.” That bird listens to our conversations and learns new phrases and then sometimes uses them in the right context. It made me think of how this little bird remembers things that he hears and learns quickly. He was showing concern for the boy too.
