@cherokeepatti I make a noise at them and the open their beaks like that 😀

@Nebula when my parakeets had babies the daddy would predigest the seeds and put them in the mother’s mouth and she would spit it in the babies mouth one at a time. The daddies get exhausted from it and are sitting on their perches all hours of the day into the night with seeds drooling down their faces and the babies are still hollering for food.

@Nebula It’s much easier to get enough feeds to feed those babies when they are provided in a food cup. Imagine a wild bird having to go out and find food for their babies to feed them and then fly to the nest, do the feeding and fly back out to find more. That’s a huge amount of energy the wild birds are using to do that.
