That the shroud was used for Jesus' burial, was debunked quite a while ago. It is not even old enough, but a genuine investigation into its real origin is an interesting historical exercise.
I would not regard the Indian ancestry claim too seriously unless you can read the full report showing what contains the DNA found, and whether as original or a later contaminent.
