Her mother’s Creole de couleur, which includes African, French & Native American. Her father is African American (which if he’s like most of us, also includes some European blood). She identifies as black or Black Creole. In the U.S., because of the "one-drop" rule, that makes her Black, and percentages are negligible at this point.

@NinaCherry Yes, I bet it would be. A lot of people don’t know the history of the Creoles in the U.S.
