atoms in our human body are replaced every 5-7 years

98% of all atoms are replaced after just one year. To me this begs the question of is our memories and character stored somewhere else within us?

It begs the question of how memories are stored, are they stored chemically or as electrical impulses and how then is that information replicated in new cells at the molecular level

@Onestarlitnight very true. somehow they are passed on to the new atom. and since information is passed through cells both electrically through the axon and usually exchanged chemically it might just be both
