Natural and synthetic mouse embryos grown by developmental biologist Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz’s research group.
Two research groups have developed mouse embryos “In vitro” from stem cells. They have lives of 8 1/2 days out of a 20 day gestation period. They also face a challenge of getting beyond the 11 day hurdle without a placenta.
This would allow a lab to not have the need for animals from outside sources to test with since they can be grown in house.
The fact that two groups replicated results validates the process. Good research is always replicated by a second group.
This also leads to cures for humans and there is a 14 day rule on human stem cells currently in regards to ethical practices.

Very interesting with a plethora of potential positive developments. The trick is how do we keep further applications in the hands of people only wanting to do good for mankind...

I agree.
The sanctity of life needs to be regarded in further developments.
@Pfuzylogic Agreed. It's an admirable cause. Not sure how we do it though..

Just like everything else at least in my country…legislation. Who knows maybe there will be an international council.
@Pfuzylogic Yes it has to be unilaterally supported by an international council. One country cannot do it alone..

Have a great weekend..
