there's this view of Anaximander

He held an evolutionary view of living things. The first creatures originated from the moist element by evaporation. Man originated from some other kind of animal, such as fish, since man needs a long period of nurture and could not have survived if he had always been what he is now.
and then there is this
Oannes, in Mesopotamian mythology, an amphibious being who taught mankind wisdom. As described by the Babylonian priest Berosus, had the form of a fish but with the head of a man under his fish’s head and under his fish’s tail the feet of a man. In the daytime he came up to the seashore of the Persian Gulf and instructed mankind in writing, the arts, and the sciences. Oannes was probably the emissary of Ea, god of the freshwater deep and of wisdom.

Just some late thoughts. I want to make a movie that will connect such information. Not a documentary, a movie. If i ever get down to it, it's going to be super crazy.
