Have you guys heard of the desert ghoul? 🧞

In the Arabian folkloric sense?

It is considered a mythical creature that appears and disappears suddenly at night in the desert and dark isolated places.

It looks like a moving flame 🔥and believed to be a form of demon/jinn that leads people astray in the darkness to get them lost.

There are many sightings and stories of these strange lights since the ancient times.

They look like this:

Some people try to take a more scientific approach and say they are insects that reflect lights but nobody knows for sure. Many times they appear in absolute total darkness without any light source. Also they can be big. Like a ball of fire.

I don’t believe or disbelieve them but I find them intriguing for sure. Lol

@Jimbo7 green and blue .they disappeared as soon we seen them,we notified coastguard incase they were flares but nothing was found

Interesting! I’ve read stories from around the world and it seems they come in different colors depending on the surroundings. In the desert the lights are usually of a warm color like yellow/orange. By the sea it’s typically a cool tone such as blue or green like you said. How did you feel when you saw them? @Jimbo7

@SW-User I was like WTF did you see that and everyone fishing were like wow ,then coastguards were informed and we watched as they searched with boat and helicopter.
It was around 2am
