Actually he is, he was said to be able to heal, but at the same time he could bring plagues and darkness which is why he had a son who's the God of healing, Asclepius. He is the God of light who took over as sun god after Helios. He is the god of prophesy because it is said that through the oracle of Delphi known as the Pythia, he would speak prophesies to the seeker, however he also was known to be quite logical and had a lot of wisdom to speak, two of which were inscribed on his temple at Delphi, "nothing in excess" and "know thyself". He was an excellent marks man like his sister Artemis, which is why I said archery however he also had quite a love for nature as he was said to go after many a nymph, one of which Daphne, transformed into a Lural tree which is why the Lural is sacred to him. As well as he would always play music with the muses in the forest.
