I Am Skeptical
Do you ever come across the situation where you think you know someone but they ended up surprising you with their true colours ? It’s uncomfortably amusing.

For me, the feeling is never that they surprised me, more that I surprised myself by choosing to see them in more of a positive light than evidence warranted in the first place. It usually turns out that I knew better the whole time, and just ignored the parts of myself that did.
