I Am Interested In the Paranormal

There were some unexplained events in my last house. It was small and my husband and I moved because of that, but I miss being there sometimes. We found the unexplained to be interesting and sometimes entertaining. On average of once every few months there would be an easily recognizable noise heard by both of us but no proof of the cause. We would hear things such as a picture fall from the wall, plastic containers fall from the kitchen counter, or coats fall from the hooks - but nothing would be out of place when we went to pick up the things. We couldn't decide if the sounds were being created by a ghost playing pranks or if there was one who could clean up messes faster than we could get to them.
Sometimes there would be a sound of something heavy falling to the floor or against a wall when we were each on a different level of the house. This would cause us to go check on the other only to meet on the way and have the same story, "Nothing happened where I was. I'm coming to check on you because what I heard came from where you have been." It was always a relief to find the other hadn't had any trouble and we joked that something just wanted us to take a break from whatever we were doing.
Once, there was a very loud bang from the basement while we were in the living room. We were hesitant to go down there because it sounded like something huge had broken to cause the sound and we actually worried about the structural integrity of the house. We cautiously went down the steps to find nothing new - no cracks, no broken supports, nothing on the floor.
Another time, there was a knocking sound that travelled high around the outside of the house. It was quick and quit when it got back around to where it began. I don't think a bird could hit as often or at the speed needed to have caused it. And it might be even stranger that a bird hit all four walls before leaving.
The only things that went missing were one particular style of kitchen utensil. Luckily they were cheap to replace because I bought a few per year for at least ten years. Almost annually I would find a piece or two of old silverware when replanting flower beds and wonder how long it had been since they went missing for their owners and if mine might be buried nearby - Lol. I never did any extra digging as mine would probably also be rusty and useless. My husband and I looked forward to seeing every square inch of that house empty when we moved so that we might find a stash of our missing utensils or some other surprise, but there was nothing unusual.
So, those are things I remember right now and this story is too long anyway. I can't say that there's something to learn from those experiences and I have no idea if other owners of that house had experiences.

@SW-User It was an entertaining place to be. I've seen nothing like it since moving.

@wasityou I gather you never felt threatened?

@SW-User Nope, not at all. Have you had any trouble with these kinds of things?
