I go ghost hunting as a hobby, I have seen shadows, heard unexplained voices and other noises, been touched and shoved. Plus I have a couple of spirits living in my home Betty plays a piano in the middle of the night and Bull is always turning lights on and off

Things keep appearing on the floor! Random things...a spanner, boxes that I'd actually put in the recycling the previous night and once.. 3 of us saw it happen...a tea towel draped through a cupboard handle came out of the top of the handle...like if I'd pulled it off and fell to the floor.... it didn't slide out and fall...it was just like it was pulled off and thrown down. I have no clue yet who it is. ...
Also I get white noise coming through the kitchen radio when I come down some mornings...even tho the radio is off. The tv has also come on on its own twice. Most things happen when I'm alone. X

I have experienced a few things. Nothing scary...sometimes slightly unsettling. My sister and I went on an investigation in a local theatre. She got pushed through a door at great force by something. I saw her fly. Evertone else was on the other side of the door....which was at the top of 8 steps. She landed on the floor at the bottom of the steps and cracked a bone in her back! It was enough proof for her that there was something unpleasant there. She's never been on another since. I have a visitor in my kitchen at present....but its not threatening in any way

@Muldoon, I've never had any by someone close to me. I have seen my very close friends' father's though. I wasn't sure till the last it was actual visitations. Before seeing what the autopsy showed, I saw the girl in a long one. The message I got was what the mother dreamt before the girl passed. I wasn't going to tell the mom until something I saw something from the dream come true.

I've seen a shadow person where I work.

@senghen That sounds like some kind of a sign or a warning. I had similar dreams but not that big as predicting someone's death. I've read that yellow skin color usually indicates illnes.

When I was a kid I always dreamt about ghosts. Neither friendly or hostile, just there. There's stories in my family that My mom's sister had a ghost that followed her every time the moved. even as she had kids and grandkids I still hear the stories of seeing the little boy playing with the her kids

@Originalme I first noticed after I had my first child. The first big one was an accident between a motorcycle and a van, saw the same thing within days over the same train tracks one street over. The visitations were after though.

There was a kids TV show...Sesame Street with a big yellow bird called Big Bird. The toy was a talking/ singing BB that you pressed his wing or tum and he said a phrase. It was cute.... until it talked on its own!! Lol

I had dreams of my Father having a yellow face and months later he died having a yellow face and he died fifty years to the day his Mother died my Mother died fifty years to the day her Grandmother died all very strange.

I've had psychic dreams and visitations. I've seen big and little things come true. In the last visitation dream I had, I saw what they found on the autopsy less than a week after the dream.

Oh my Convo!! My daughter that a talking big bird! If the battery ran down it would talk without pushing the button! It used to freak us out!! It was sat on a shelf high above a cupboard and I was ready my little girl a bedtime story....and it started laughing!!! We were so spooked!! Another time we'd just moved house and putting stuff in my gals new room. The closed toy box was in there and big bird was singing away inside! That was the last straw. We took out the batteries and cut the wires so he'd never speak again!!!

I can remember a few...I was a very scared kid though. lol. I remember I was sleeping on my back, or trying to. I had bad insomnia as a kid...and I opened my eyes and saw a girl floating above me. Of course, I closed my eyes and pulled the covers over my head. When I looked again, she was gone. Another time, I had this big bird toy...(lol) and he would talk if you pushed a button. I remember I kept throwing him around, and he said "have a nice day...(my name)" I swear, lol, and it freaked me out so bad I cut it up and threw it out..lmao

I've seen some soft green flashes floating at the end of my bed once around 3am

Yep, I have. Old experience many years ago. Nothing lately though. Knock on wood.

@Youkai My mother experienced a very similar thing. She felt a very heavy furry animal climbing the bed,she couldn't move or speak no matter how hard she was trying to. That thing was trying to suffocate her. She managed to wake my grandmother somehow and it ran away. Some people call this a sleep paralysis as well. (I'm in love with your username,it's one of the coolest ones on SW)

one time i was resting on my bed when i sensed someone come into my room. i thought it was just a family member so i didn't bother to open my eyes or move. i pretended to be asleep so they'd let me alone. i felt the person or whatever bend next to my face before it stood up and left. later on that day i asked my family if they'd been in my room and everyone said no

OriginalMe. ..The same thing you described happened to my sisters husband. She woke because she felt the bed shake....she saw a dark figure over him and he was paralized to the bed...she gasped and it simply disappeared. In the morning g he didn't recall anything.

I don't get scared really...I feel a bit uneasy...but I don't think it's trying to scare or hurt me. I sometimes get cross....fancy taking stuff out of the recycling and chucking it on the floor! !! Lol

Cinnamon, I haven't experienced anything myself but my mother had an encounter with an entity. She was at her parents house and in the middle of the night,something woke her up. She felt something fury standing on her feet at the other side of the bed,she couldn't move,it started moving towards her upper body and started suffocating her. She said that she was completely paralyzed and that she tried to yell but words weren't coming out of her mouth,she somehow managed to wake her mother who was sleeping next to her bed and that thing disappeared. She said that it was one of the scariest things ever!

It was creepy cause the damn toy said it right when I was leaving the room, so it was like he had freaking eyes or something lmao

I think that it's trying to tell you something, and since you say it mostly happens when you're alone,then it must mean it's linked to you. Do you get scared when things like that happen? I was always intrigued by stuff like that but I never encountered an entity. Maybe that's because deep inside I'm scared of what might happen. I've heard that fear itself prevents us from seeing what's around us since they don't look very pleasant,often very scary.

You can see figures that show up on the pics. When I was in Savannah Ga I snapped a few pics of a cemetery and when I checked the pics the next day, you could clearly see ppl in period/Victorian style clothing standing in the grave yard. I've also picked up a really thick mist in a bar in NOLA. It has the figure of a mans head wearing a pirate/buccaneer hat. I love reading about paranormal stuff

I have seen "ghosts" a few times, and have several photos with orbs or apparitions.

I saw my parents standing together here in the house after my Mother died.

I love hearing about it. My folks were originally from New Orleans and there was always a good ghost story to be told, especially with all the cemeteries in Vieux Carre.
