I Have Had Paranormal Experiences
The first major paranormal experience I had was during my first year of college. I met two people, Miranda and Conor, who were both very into the paranormal world, Conor more so than Miranda. They were both learning to read Tarot cards during the ladder half of September and into October, and I was going through a messy high school break up. I, of course, had questions that could not easily be answered so I asked Miranda to practice reading cards on me. We were in the study lounge of our dorm hall when it all started. It was around one in the morning on a Wednesday and all the lights were turned off. She sat on the floor and I was in one of the chairs writing out my questions. I had never seen cards read in the way she was attempting to do it. First came the invocation of a spirit. We called upon it to answer my questions through the cards. I remember a tingling feeling going over my body. That is all I can recall until about 5 hours later when i woke up to Conor leaning over me, violently demanding answers from someone that was not me. He looked me dead in the eyes the entire time. During the hours that I was unconscious, I only know what I have been told. Apparently, I told Miranda that something did not feel right. I said I felt cold and tingly. She, of course, got scared and called Conor, who was a Reki master and an aspiring exorcist. He came to the study lounge with bottles of salt, holy water, white sage, and other bottles of various things. He first went to Miranda. He put salt in her hair and holy water on her forehead and, although she was very tired, it had little affect on her. As this was happening I was sitting on the other end of the couch laughing uncontrollably. This was cause for concern to Conor, who then drew a circle of salt around me on the floor. I told Miranda that I felt wrong, but I would not speak to Conor directly. He began chanting things at me and holding his ring, the metal of St. Benedict, on my forehead. I collapsed in his arms and began to shake violently with my eyes rolled back in my head. This went on for some time, but finally ended with me standing up and asking to be taken outside. The complied thinking I was fine. The three of us sat on the bench outside of our dorm hall and after a short amount of time, Conor realized that I was still not okay. He placed one hand on my shoulder with his ring to my skin. I recoiled as if I was being burned. The next 3 hours was spent with Conor holding the ring hard against my head while pressing a rosary into my hand and a Bible somewhere else on my body. I had iron nailed stuck into the soles of my shoes, causing my feet to burn when I touched them to the ground. I fought back at Conor with an amount of strength that was extremely uncharacteristic of me. I dug my fingernails into his arms, face, and chest in a desperate attempt to get him off of me. He chanted the Benedictine prayer into my ear until he got fed up with the relentless fight he was in. He began insulting the creature inside of me, making it mad and puting it on the offensive. It was out for not only my life, but his and Miranda's too. At some point, the thing got so angry that every light on our campus and in the surrounding areas cut off with a flash. I remember being able to see through my own eyes for the first time. The stars were so bright without the light there to dull them. Miranda usually tells the next part as the most horrifying of the entire night. I called her name, wanting her to hold my hand. She did, and as I turned to look her in the face, my eyes turned almost black and my face morphed into almost nothing but a nonhuman smile. My eyes were locked directly on hers. Conor jerked my face away from her and back towards him, and he began again saying the prayers with his holy objects pressed into my skin. This continued for some time more until we moved to the chapel where a circle of salt was once again placed around me. This is the point that I woke up. I remember being asked over and over for my name but the only thing I said was Fagaul. This was the name of the demonic creature inside of me. At this point, the sun was beginning to rise over campus and, although he knew it was not over, Conor stopped and we went inside for the night. I slept in Miranda's bed, her and Conor were on the floor guarding me. That night I had terrible dreams. There was a clown in front of me. He had greasy black hair and a weapon in his hand. The entire scene would flash black and the clown would then be closer than before until he was directly in front of me, covered in what looked like blood. I woke up at this point but fell back to sleep quickly. The second dream had a creature that looked like a twisted cross between a cartoon rabbit, a human, and a cartoon mouse. It had the arms of an adult man that were reaching out for me. I woke up to my alarm at this point and had to go to class. I remember my day vaguely, but all details are hazy.
