My fathers story [I Believe In the Paranormal]

They lived in an old vicarage that had a middle landing to the stairway to the top floor where the bedrooms were .My father woke up one night to a figure at the bottom of the
bed .The whole family had seen it at different times .
My father called out to his dad .They followed it down stairs and it disappeared under the kitchen floor .
I am cutting a long story short leaving out alot .They dug up their kitchen floor and found a buried cellar with a black coffin in on trestle legs .Everything was really dirty but the coffin it was clean highly polished .They pulled it out , went back to the middle landing where a cupboard no one had ever opened as the key was lost , smashed it open with an axe and there was a skeleton hanging by the neck inside .
Placed the remains in the coffin buried it in the local church yard .
From that day till the house fell into disrepair it was quiet .
I had this story repeated to me several times by aunts , uncles and my grandfather growing up .
