I Am Interested In the Paranormal

Yesterday my missus wanted to make popcorn but the scoop was nowhere to be found, it must have been knocked off and been on the shelf, the floor or somewhere but we couldn't find it. She made the popcorn and filled the void left by the scoop by putting a cup over it. I was just down in the kitchen 15 minutes ago, the scoop is in place on the popcorn maker. I went upstairs and asked where she found it, 'I didn't,' she replied. We've both just been downstairs and there it is, in place but covered in dust. Apparently the kitchen lights were on this morning too, neither of us went downstairs in the night and my partner turned them off last night. We have a dog who sleeps in the kitchen who has been a nuisance recently opening the doors and joining us at 4 am, so the kitchen door is held shut with a bungee cord. The dog made no fuss last night and the door was still shut this morning.
I don't believe in ghosts but wtf is going on here?

Christ this would FREAK me out. On the plus side the poltergeist sounds helpful..ask out loud where all your odd socks are..

@SW-User Now that I know, the dog takes them!
After posting the first message, my partner and I walked through what we knew together to get a clearer picture.
I'd seen the scoop in place the day before (Thursday)
It was missing Friday, but she used the popcorn maker that night and left it 'out' (it is usually pushed up against the wall.
On Saturday at 14:00, when my partner came in from work she put it back against the wall, putting her fingers in the hole vacated by the scoop.
At 23:00 the scoop was back.
At about 15:30 my partner went out and I was at the front of the house (outside) for about an hour and a half with the back door unlocked, this is the only time somebody would have had access to the house but they would have had to climb the fence and why would somebody play a prank so small and missable? The look on my partner's face when I told her it was back was something to see but she used to live with a 'ghost' at another house so is less sceptical(she really believes). I'm thinking of using a Ouija board to see if I can get answers (I know in films that is the worst thing you can do but if there is something there, it's already there.) Also the number of possible entities, if it is a spirit is just too many to guess at.

In addition to the above last night I checked:
The loft, nobody in it, no way to access it.
The Utility room which is connected to the kitchen, so tightly backed with things , no way to get in or out without evidence.
The Kitchen door, we leave a key in it at night so another key cannot be used from the outside.
I'm trying to cover all options and logical answers aren't working.

@GeniUs Don't use a Ouija board!!!👻You can open a portal to something you don't want, and you can't close it once it's open. I lived in a haunted house for 3 years and was followed here. Sounds like your wife or girlfriend was followed. I've had a paranormal investigation done at my house and it was mind blowing!!!!😱

(I was thinking of Ouija because there were so many possibilities as to who or what was causing what was going on.)

@GeniUs No, don't use it! A mean ass spirit came through calling the investigator the most vile names really LOUD!!! I had flowers I brought in the garage because it was during the winter, when they left and I went through the house to lock it up for the night my flowers were all ripped up!😲She told me it stays in our attic. I could write a book on this subject. Look at my featured story...I even have a picture to prove what happened to me here one night last March.😢💥

I'm still looking for alternative solutions as I don't believe in ghosts. Has your situation calmed down at all? Was there a reason for the last attack? So many questions...

@GeniUs It's evil, that's the ONLY reason.😈 The veil between worlds is lifting. If you own your home there is a program on TV called "The Dead Files" that will come out and do an investigation, I had a friend that knew someone so I was lucky because we don't own this house, but they moved to CA. I wish I had answers...
