Gorgon Girl ~

In shadows deep where legends weave,
I sought the one whom none believe.
Medusa, cursed with gaze so fierce,
Yet in her heart, a longing pierce.

With caution, I approached her lair,
No glance to meet, no breath of air.
I felt the pull of her despair,
An embrace awaited, a bond to share.

I wrapped my arms around her tight,
In that moment, we defied the night.
Her serpents writhed, but I held fast,
In stony love, our fates amassed.

Then slowly, gently, I turned to see,
The beauty trapped, the soul set free.
In her eyes, a world of stone,
We found our peace, no more alone.

Together we stood, forever entwined,
In an eternal embrace, our hearts aligned.
For in that gaze, both fierce and bright,
We trapped each other in love’s pure light.

So let the legends fade away,
For in our arms, we chose to stay.
Medusa, my love, in shadows we dwell,
In stony embrace, we cast our spell.
