Is the Lake of Fire Literal.

I am asking this question IS THE LAKE OF FIRE LITERAL.Some people believe that it is literal fire and that lost souls will burn forever in it.
The reason i believe that it is symbolic is that number one is that our mortal bodies would be destroyed within a few hours, those who believe that it is literal fire argue that in eternity all shall have immortal bodies those who are Christians and go to Heaven and non Christian who go to Hell therefore there bodies in the Lake of fire will burn throughout eternity. Number two i would doubt that a loving God would torture people for eternity in that way ,in saying that i believe that being separated from God and all that is good will be bad enough and it is a place to be avoided at all cost.
One way of avoiding going to Hell is putting your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I believe it will be a literal lake of fire..

When we are rasurected from the dead to face the last judgement we shall be given different immortal bodies.. Therefore those that are cast into the lake of fire will have bodies that will be immortal and will be able to burn and be in torment forever and ever..

So you personaly don't think God would allow it... Your going to go on what you WANT to persoanly believe rather then have Faith in the Word of God on the matter..

Yes being seperated from God and all that is good will i believe actually be worse then the torment they will be physically experiencing in the fire..

Tell me why you think it acceptable for a loving God will put people in a place seperated from God and all that is good but you think it is unacceptable for a God to have them cast into a Lake of Fire.. Both should seem bad to you if your going to be consistent with your belief..
