The canary in the coal mine.

All the canaries that were taken down into the mine of our morally collapsed society have perished. They began to suffocate in the mid 20th century when abortion was legalized. What happened? It went from being legalized to being celebrated. After legalization, there was continued debate on its morality. We then see gradual acceptance, diminishing taboo, to spectacle and performance. These women mock their murdered babies. What will it be next? Televised abortions? Abortion movies? This evil should have been kept in a cold, dark dungeon. The signs of what was to come were there. We ignored them.
