Absolutely. God said there is a hell, and he came to warn people about it, so they would not end up there. Hell is mentioned in the Bible more than heaven, because it is such a horrible place, God wants to make sure we know about it and no one ends up there. He wants to make sure we know how to get to heaven. He is not willing that any should perish.

God doesn’t send people to hell, they choose it (Romans 1:18,21,25). When we choose sin and unrepentance, over God and his Plan of Salvation to save us from hell, then we are choosing the worst alternative. After death, there is no way to escape hell. That's why Jesus said to plan for eternity while you are still alive, here. There is not one verse in the Bible that says we are reincarnated. In fact, it states just the opposite. “It is appointed unto men once to die, and after that the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Not one person has to miss heaven. But if a person wants nothing to do with God and makes that known, and curses him, and mocks him, they have set their own fate. He will grant them their wish and leave them alone. The biggest lie that Satan wants us to believe is that after death we are annihilated. The Bible says differently. We live for eternity. The theory of annihilation denies the resurrection of the unsaved (John 5:28).

What is amazing, is that Christ died for our sin and freely offers salvation to all (Romans 2:4; 3:22-24; 4:7,8; 5:8,9).

God has provided the way of salvation to all (John 3:16,17;2 Corinthians 5:14,15;1 Timothy 2:6; 4:10;Titus 2:11;2 Peter 3:9).
