i read once that if a certain place or object is subject to extreme suffering or sadness or hate and rage, that the emotions can stain its surfaces, like blood and smoke, an imprint so anyone crossing over that land or happens to observe the object will feel inside them selves a small taste of what was felt, so that whoever might visit these places will tread softly and speak in whispers, that the screams of the past might be heard again and hopefully the events that took place might never be repeated.

I heard a person's soul is made of pure energy. Energy can't be created or destroyed, only transferred or changed. Meaning you definitely don't stop existing when you die. Your body does but your soul moves on. I believe that sometimes you can choose or you have to stay here without a new body, so you'll just be a ghost without a shell.
