The ghost of you asks too much!
Can't do the things that you wish I would.
Can't say the things you'd say.
Can't do the things you could.

I should.
It's understood.
Mandrake in the woods.

You speak and I hear.
You have a lot to say these days.
But I hesitate to listen.
We all walk our ways.

I stay.
Everybody plays.
Poison always pays.

I refuse to accept it all.
I can try but can't save anyone.
People testing limits.
Everybody having fun.

I never run.
But I'm close to done.
I am but the Setting Sun !
