Good question. On one hand I've known people who had or have medical conditions where hallucination are symptoms ... versions of Parkinson's, versions of Sarcoidosis, some neuro-optical diseases ... and what they think they see or hear is very real and very detailed to them. So it's reasonable to believe that whatever the brain cross-circuits that causes the hallucinations for those conditions may also occur to others in a transitory way.

On the other hand, I've listened to enough quantum physicist to accept that there's a lot that we don't know about how the universe functions and can question whether time can move in other directions besides forward and I''m unwilling to rule out ghost.

I'd love to have deceased friends and relatives come by and say, and I'm fine if they appear as puffs of clouds, or wearing sheets. So regardless of whether real or not, I'm open.
