Saw ghost and wide awake now [I Ghosts]

I was just washing cup in kitchen sink before going to bed. When I looked up and out window there was a face looking in at me. I freaked and grabbed shotgun from closet and shot the face threw the window. There was no way I could have missed and doubt anyone is going to walk away after face full of buckshot. But as I went outside while on phone with cops I found no body and no blood.

How much time did it take you to grab the shotgun from the closet and fire it?
Why do you suppose the face would have waited for it. And if it did, are you sure it coudnt duck when you blinked while squeezing the trigger?

@WandererTony not long was 5 steps to closet and back. And no I was looking right at eyes when pulling the trigger. And not really any where he could of gone other than my storm cellar
