How Cioran cites an ancient text

And I have this ancient text with Bibek Debroy’s acclaimed translation it would be torture to record it as all the names and places I could never pronounce correctly but here is my #1 thinker from Drawn & Quartered

Which then makes me think of Lyndsay Anderson’s film IF which postulates how a bullet in the right place can change everything.
