I definitely have had that happen. My first real love hit me just that way.
But I would caution you for this reason: your last post about being alone--which I'm sure you felt quite keenly!--might make you vulnerable to being overly committed to whoever first comes along. There are people who would take advantage of that.
Don't get tangled up in knots, but do try to keep some "perspective". Regardless of your youth or beauty, you are worth a GOOD relationship.
