You don’t have to guess if Heaven’s real. Jesus promised it, in 1 John 5:13
"These things have I written… that you may KNOW that you have eternal life."
You’re wishing to see your loved ones again? God's mercy and grace provide that, if you're willing to let Him rescue you. God put that wish in you.
"He hath set eternity in their heart." Ecclesiastes 3:11
That ache for forever? That’s your soul remembering where it came from. And Jesus is the only One who can take you there.
If I thought for a second, His promises were wishy-washy at best, I sure wouldn't have followed Him for the last 53 years; only to be left guessing, upon my final breath. Eternity is far too long, to chance getting it wrong, in my humble, personal opinion.
Another thing about God's promises? They're for everyone, not just some. That's one of the many things I love about God.That's Him saying, 'You CAN count on Me. Just ask...and I will do it.' And that promise is in John 3:16 and 17. He turns no one away. The minute you come to Jesus for salvation, all Heaven leans in and the legions of angels rejoice over one sinner that was saved. You're not just saved, beloved. You are celebrated in heaven. Luke 15:10
"He that comes unto Me, I shall in no wise cast out."
God is just that kind of Protector. He won't leave us unguarded, to face eterity, alone.
I'm so thankful Jesus loved me enough to show me where I'm going and how to get there, my final day, and that He left Heaven, just to make a way for you and I to get there.
Jesus already did the discovering. He died, He rose, and He said, 'I go to prepare a place for you, so that where I am, you may be also.' That’s not a guess OR a wish. That’s a promise found in John 14:2. And Jesus never breaks a promise. I can vouch for that.
If you want Heaven, you can definitely have it. Right now. Just trust the One who built it. He's only a prayer away.
From the cross to the Throne, He never left us alone.
